Too many rules!
"It's been a few years since I went to the land folk fest and boy it has changed! Cons: Too many rules and volunteers with a power trip about enforcing them- fire lanes on a lawn in the rain? Do you really think people wont clear a path if emergency personnel need to get through? These are conscious aging hippies! Pro: Lots of great artists on 4 stages and busking all over the place Access to some of the stages was so restricted it was pointless to even have music there and fans were hogging seats all day Beer/wine- having to wait in 3 lines for nearly an hour to buy a 12oz cup of mediocre beer is ridiculous, let alone you can't leave the "beer garden" with your drink! Corporate sponsorship ads on the jumbotron are obnoxious and several of them are peddlers of junk- in the words of Billy Bragg at a fest years ago "I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire!" I would never again attend on land- listening from the harbor is the way to go!"
